So we went to the eye doctor today and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Tufty at Sanford. He and his nurse were great with Steeven and the visit was actually, somewhat, enjoyable. After having said that I must now say that my son will be the kid with the "pop bottle" glasses, say it isn't so! I guess I don't know how thick the Dr. meant, but I guess we will find out soon enough. All I know is he said Steeven is extremely near sighted, which explains the standing directly in front of the television.
The poor little guy had to have two different kinds of drops in his eyes, twice! he was a trooper though. He also had his first sucker, which ended up in my hair, on my shirt, my neck oh and he drooled it on my arm too! Good Times! Oh well, I guess that is the price a mom must pay to make his visit a little easier. I also have to give him drops at home for 12 days, yes I said 12 days. I will have to let you know how that goes.
Next we leave for the hospital where he will have a CT scan done of his nose and sinus area. Then off to the ENT again to go over results. Fun, fun and more fun. At least I have lots of stories to tell, right. Oh, and I remembered to get the other three kids are squared away so there will be no stress about getting home on time when they are out of school. Thanks Kim and April for helping a mom out!
Your good at telling stories! I'm not lying when I say I giggle through them all! Steeven is such a friendly little man! I love it...and so will all the girls! lol
